Similar but not the same as VW late 3 prong. No electronic switch in warning lamp.

I'm using this system on the diesel trike. I prefer hanging pedals with a plunger switch, but I'm using stock vw brakes with floor mount pedals and must fill the holes in the master with switches anyway, so I might as well use them.

Indicates only one failed switch. If both fail, there will be no warning light.

Note both switches are connected the same way, but one is turned 180 degrees for a clearer schematic.

>>I would go one step further by adding a logic inverter to the lamp.<<

Looking at it again I think you would investigate if only one switch went bad and leave it at that.

I assume you're referring to the warning lamp and to have a warning when both are bad. Would you draw the circuit?
