Hi All,

I am almost finished with my front suspension. I am curious. What would be the expected amount of Corner Sprung Weight a Vodou or Saturn Build should have with a Miata engine? I haven't found a good number.

Also, how much droop % would be good. I am looking at 40% droop, with 5 inch travel. Corner sprung weight of 350, and a spring of 399? But I dont know how accurate this will be.

Sounds like a reasonable amount of droop.
The springs rate is 90% effective at best and usually less than that, depending on the mounting.
There are other factors in determining the best rate which also depends on what your intended use is.

Is a 400 lb spring considered big?

That all depends on the motion ratio.
