Post subject:  Looking for a Brake Master Cylinder

Hi,
I am looking for an aluminum dual circuit master cylinder, 3/4" bore that uses double flare fittings not metric/sae fittings.
Bloody picky, I know! It's got to be light, hence aluminum, 3/4" bore coz I'm using small brake cylinders and calipers, and every thing else is double flare in the system. Oh, and if it's not too much trouble, not too expensive!
What should I be looking for?
Cheers,
Stewart.

You've narrowed it down to a small domestic (versus a rebadged import).

A 1986 escort with power brakes has a 19.75mm bore which is .777". The manual version is 21mm if you find your running out of pedal travel.

It has a separate plastic resevoir but it may not be aluminum.

You might try increasing the pedal ratio to use a larger bore with similar effort and travel.
