I am looking and I believe that the C6 and C5 corvettes use the same spindle front and rear, just different bearing and hub parts.

I am looking at trying use a set of LG motorsports 1" drop billet spindles for front and rear on a build. This way it would be one less part that would have to be kept on hand for a spare. Just would have to keep a comeplete set of bearings and hubs for front and rear on hand.

From what I've read before it sounds like they do use the same spindle front and rear. The hubs are different front to rear, with the rear having a hollow spined section and the front not so much. However I believe there are at least a few people claiming to run the rear hubs on all four corners with no ill effects. The ZR1 uses stronger hubs with a different spline count, which it seems will bolt on as well. It appears that the ZR1 does use the same hubs on all four corners of the car straight from the factory.

Awesome, hope you can get the fronts and rears for only $5500 since your buying 2 pairs, would be a saving of $500 you could use to goldplate grease nipples.

Ouch. Even with a layer of grease, that sounds like it could be almost as painful as a DIY gallbladder removal...Maybe you should try it first just to be sure. :shock:

i know they are not cheap. I will probly use factory uprights instead. My husband has these list as a want for his corvette if we were right.


I know my still or types of builds dont really fit in to the "LOW COST" area, but this is a great site for infomation and things.
