I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of making my own uprights but not sure how I would go about making the bearing cups. Do most of you just use some round tubing with approximate ID's to match the bearing OD and ream the round tubing to match the bearing to the tubing? If you do, what WT do you guys use? Once that's figured out, where do you get the hubs? I guess my google searching skills are lacking but I can't seem to find a good place to research hubs, bearings, and spindles?
I'm leaning towards taking a knuckle assembly from a junkyard to use the spindle and hub, replacing the bearing with a new one, and using tubing for the bearing cup. Right track?
