my pinion is .605" 36 spline. will a 5/8-36 pinch bolt type work?

Snag one off a 80's-90's B2200 Mazda pickup. It fits.

Dunno. Only one-way to find out.

I ~do~ know the Chevette spline is abnormal - there isn't any aftermarket (ie: Flaming River) joint that fits. I ~do~ know the B2200 joint fits, and it ~also~ happens to fit the Triumph rack I replaced my Chevette rack with.

the images i see on google only show a rag joint. did they come with a u-joint too?

Yes, it's above the sector shaft thingie. #32-291 I don't know what else might fit - Honda maybe?
