I tried to get a copy from Amazon finally got a response:
Quote:
Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've
since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this
time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize
for the inconvenience we have caused you.

We have cancelled this item from your order.

Does anyone know another source?

I found someone someone on Amazon selling a used copy for $121.49 that is out of the reasonable price range.

The new book is late out the gate.....everday WALMART sends me a notice pushing back the release one day.

The old book can be had for $27.51 from bigger books....use the froogle link above and sort by price.

Are you reading Competition Car Suspension: A practical hand book

or Competition Car Suspension: Design, Construction, Tuning

Image

I believe these books have a different focus.

I'm reading design, contruction & tuning.... The other one (practical) is advertised as being the 4th edition. My understanding is, that the pictures and some interviews are more modern. Same book different vintage

A Practical Handbook is a series from haynes
heres the list with Competion Car Suspention description
http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=37867&langId=-1

The next one on my list in Competion Car Electrics Then I'll be missing only one from the serie.

I was looking for Staniforth's (practical guide) book at amazon.ca. A month ago it was unavailable, last week it was available and would ship in 4-6 weeks. Tonight it was in stock! I ordered that sucker up on the spot along with Keith Tanner's book. A little Christmas present to myself I guess.

Next to pick up Tune to Win and I think I'm all set.

I'm weak and worthless.....

I figured I was on a roll. amazon.ca wanted $88 for Tune to Win. That just wasn't going to happen so I went over to amazon.com and ordered it up for $20.

Silly me, I was going to order up my tubing today but couldn't get a hold of the guy I got pricing from weeks ago. It'll have to wait until the New Year I guess.

But I'm telling you guys - I'm all booked out now. That's it for me.

Nice job. It's a great book, you won't regret it.

Wahoo!!!

My first order arrived today. I love ordering stuff online, it's like getting a birthday present in the mail.

I'll probably be up until 4 am reading. Might as well though. I have to take the little guy to a hockey game in the morning - he has a 7:45 am ice time.
