This is really cosmetic but since it involves a wheel I am posting it here.
I am looking for ways to make the car look less like a conglomeration of random car parts and more like a single brand. As an example my wheels are early miata that look like a mini lite. Gorgeous rim in my opinion but its marred with a 3"x1" mazda molded into the middle of the center cap.

Has anyone found a way to fill in a flexible plastic center cap and better yet have a 7 symbol of some sort fitted to take its place? Some of the urethane foams will fill the mazda letters but Id really like a sevenesque logo in the middle of it.

Suggestions?

All kinds of Lotus emblems can be found on ebay. Many are smaller than that 3" you are looking for . Maybe with a bit of searching.....

Or.... Glue a plain disk over the Mazda Logo and then put a smaller Lotus Logo centered on the disk.

Or.... find someone with a lathe to turn the Mazda logo flat, eliminating the logo.

OR just fill the Mazda with bondo and repaint.

Plenty of ways to accomplish what you are after.

In my opinion, the early Miata wheels look much better on a Locost with the plastic center caps removed and the wheel centers painted. Here is an example on Keith Tanner's Locost:

Just another option to consider.
