Hi Guys,

I was looking at using,

http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cf ... op_cat=197

For the control arm bushing tubes, and filling them in with these

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ens- ... /overview/

Is this a suitable combination?

Nope. You've got a 1.135 ID tube and a 1.265 OD bushing meant for a 1.25 ID tube. Way too much interference. That tube would be much better suited to the 1.140 OD busing, even if it's technically meant for a 1.125 ID tube. This chart should help:

Even though it gets used often; Poly is not a great bushing material. It's sticky and cold-creeps. In a Locost type car, I would (and did) just go solid.
Cheers.

I agree. I went with poly and I'm finding it has an incredible amount of stiction. Right now I'm trying to decide how best to fix it, and I can't decide between rubber (OEM Miata) or inserting bronze bearings inside the poly and making new sleeves kind of like these guys have done http://sadfab.com/bushingpackages.html. I would highly recommend choosing something better to start with.
