Wow, which concept of construction do you mean? The one where people send you money in advance, and if enough of them come through for you ($75,000 in the MakerPlane case) you promise to make a prototype in the next two years? The "Basically we are designing an aircraft that can be built on a computer controlled mill at home" concept of construction? The concept where paper plans will be free, "...and electronic CAM files can be sold along with the paper plans."? Or the foam core moldless composite concept?

As Colin Chapman (praise his name) learned with the Elite, it is hard to attach suspension parts to fiberglass. I've made a lot of composite aircraft, but I think I'll stick with mild steel for my Locosts.
