1st thought was, whatever you put there will take up room in a already tight space. It is tough enough fitting into one of these cars. Any window, guides, lifting mechanism would have to be in the same area as people. But if you , think you can fit it in, go for it! I don't think the dead battery is as much a problem as you may think. When that happens, open the bonnet and use jumper cables. Then you have power to open the windows, get in and turn the ignition on.
The next thought I came across is "what tall sills?" yeah they are taller than a regular car, but.....even so,
the raised window will not be tall enough to reach the top of the opening. I figure only a couple of inches higher than the scuttle assuming 13 inches for the frame and a generous 11 inch scuttle height. Not enough to use as a real window or for an egress opening.
