I spotted this a while ago, I dont know what the supply of these boxes is like your side of the pond but the RX8`s go bang quite a lot and there seems a plentiful supply here.

How the heck do you get a deal like that? I need to figure out how to bid on write offs. Course then my wife would probably kill me over all the junk in the yard that I plan to use someday, maybe.

I buy salvage cars and motorcycles all the time there are many sites to do so on .
some of the sites you have to be a repair shop or a dealer but there are some sites you don't .

we buy miata's and RX8 most of the time for there suspensions as the donors for our builds then sell off the rest of the car for it's parts .
this car (RX8) after we finish pulling the drive line and suspension there is nothing worth selling as every panel is damaged and the glass is broken on the car so it will just go to the scrap yard .
on some cars like with this having bad hail damage many times no one will bid on them as bone yards do not want to buy a car just for it's drive line they want to also sell off body panels .
so I was the only one to bid on the car the starting bid was 500 dollars so I placed the bid for that the rest of the 800 bucks was the shipping from NJ to CT .
some site you have to pay a yearly fee to be a member and others you pay a percentage of what the selling cost is of the car you bought is .

the market is so flooded with Miata's and RX7 / 8's salvage prices on them is not all to much .
