It looks like a straight thru cut out combined with 2 smaller mufflers on each side. Likely due to packaging constraints but possibly also may give a quieter system than a single muffler of equal volume. It looks like he had made room for a 3rd muffler but didn't use it for whatever reason. Sure looks pretty though.

Guessing some sort of Helmholz bypass for low RPM volume
Inner outlets are straight through & the outer 2 flow through the dual mufflers.
