Im working on a design from the gibbs roadster 221 but im going to be installing a RB25DET straight 6 so im not going to have enough space at the front. My idea is to do something like this. Sorry for the crappy pic juts knocked it up quick just to show the rough idea.

Basicaly there will be a 2nd front frame positioned so that there is 194mm between the fronts of the frames. Can anyone here whos good at CAD mock up a 3/4 view rending of how this would look? I would be doing a donkervoort d8gt style nosecone to blend the stretch in. if anyone can help that would be fantastic.

That looks a lot like the Collins 7+241 frame, so something like that has been done before.

Take a look here viewtopic.php?f=26&t=9547 in post #3.

I'll have to see which frame it is I've modeled up, and how far I've got it. I should be able to give you something pretty quickly, it's just a matter of how complete it looks.

Of course, I'm not at work tomorrow, and Monday is a holiday up here in Canada, so I can't get you anything until Tuesday at the earliest. If that works, PM me and I'll give you my e-mail address so you can remind me.

Thanks for the reply a little late tho as i have finished my frame. :D I think it fits ok and does not look too crazy. I decided to just stretch everything from BR11 forward but keep the front uprights the same so can used the book wishbones.
