It is a Crossle 47s sports 2000 circa 1980, one of 12, converted to mazda 12A Bridgeport rotary power. about 1300 lbs with driver

It is a tube frame chassis, hewland MK9 trans and is great driving car. If anyone in Arizona would like to copy the chassis you are welcome to come and make drawings. I have the molds but the car is looking a bit dated. I would really like to do a rebody! Any one interested?

Just a MOMO flat bottom open top wheel, sometimes they turn up second hand

Gorgeous car!! I'm in Mesa, AZ myself. Wish I was a CAD guy... I'd be all over that as far as making some plans from the chassis.

Hi What part of Arizona are you in? I would be interested in having a look, taking some measurements, taking pictures, and making some drawings.

I feel the need for a road trip coming up.

the Inboard brake set up is the standard hewland mk9 used on just about every forumla car (FF, FC, FA) through about 1985,they are trouble to keep cool on the track, needing special ducting. I am in south Scottsdale AZ.

I know this is a silly question but does it have a reverse?

Yes, hewland is a dog drive quick change gears racing transmission and It has a reverse, currently a 4 speed and can be built as a 5 speed.

What kind of body are going to use, are you keeping it an S2000? Lot's of nice parts for a Locost there.

How much power on the Mazda, that's probably the limit for a MK9...

here is the bare body work, I am working to fit it up to the car, hopefully get some progress this weekend, I'm Dying to go racing this year.

The car is class C Sports racer now with mazda rotary power, HP is probably 225 or so

I have more work than I can do myself in the time available. There are some very skilled builders here, many I notice are Mechanical engineers in College. I would like to employ someone on the phoenix, scottsdale tempe area to assist me.
