Sadly he has disappeared. Though there are 4 EV power lotus 7 in Aus. 2 Locosts (under construction, 1 of is mine), 1 lotus 7 replica of unknown origin and a Birkin.
None are running Lithium ion that i know of, the Birkin ran some series 1 thundersky which turned out to be rubbish and now has lead acids.
I loved the though of inboard shocks from an aero point of view.

I do, i am not up installing any electrical gear yet. Still assembling the chassis and working on the suspension. I need to do another update as i have not done one in 3 weeks or so - been a slow 3 weeks or so though.

Okay, it's been over a year . . .anyone got anything new on this whole idea?
How about a HYBRID, using a cheap gas engine to charge things up? If you can run one of these with a motorcycle engine, it should be simple to go Electro.
