I use carbon dioxide welding. ( correctly understood the question? )

That's interesting. I've never known any welders that use CO2 in the US, most use argon.
It's good to find out what others are doing. I know that in England they braze race car chassis alot.
I like to silver solder tabs onto 4130 tubing and feel I'm the only one in the world that does that.

In Ukraine, argon is used for aluminum, stainless steel.
Unfortunately I could not understand "I like to silver solder tabs onto 4130 tubing and feel I'm the only one in the world that does that."

Ewhen , I liked the garage, like Lotus Seven that you build. I understand that you know how to work with an English wheel, respect! In Ukraine, the little building and it is difficult to obtain a document for the road. Later, to show the document to the frame. The document confirmed the reliability of the design.

Here in Arkansas, welding supply shops sell argon, argon/CO2 mix, any of several argon/CO2/helium mixes under fancy names, or straight CO2. Straight argon makes a nice clean weld, adding some CO2 gives better penetration on steel. I forget the reasoning for the helium mixes, but what I tried didn't make any difference on the stuff I weld. Straight CO2 works okay, but it's a bit harder to hold a stable arc, at least with my machine.

I used straight CO2 when I was doing wrought iron railings for tract homes, not so bad to work with just a little messier and requires a bit of patience. ..

This is a welder who worked. If you want to weld stainless steel, wire change (put stainless steel and argon gas.

When it came time to work with the rear suspension, thoughtful. In 2107 vases Panara. A friend says it's boring. Then found a solution ... I'm sure that will work well.

Welcome. Interesting build. We have a small city here in the U.S. named Odessa. It is in the state of Texas near the city of MIdland. Midland is the home of a great car builder named Jim Hall. He built Chaparral racing cars.

Yes, this is a great sports car! Such machines do not have children, they are always highly sought after.
