Im looking for a fuel tank/cell for my BEC, solid axle book build.... the fuel pump the Yamaha FZ1 motor uses is external and is a pusher not a sucker... that means I will need gravity to get the fuel to the pump.. Im looking for a cell with a sump and would like it to be aluminum as I need to weld in a platform to mount the stock bike fuel sending unit. I have been unable to find a fuel cell that will fit and have good capacity. I have found a 9.5 gallon spun aluminum tank at speedway. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Spun-Alum ... #answerbox

I think I could buy this and add my sump and sending unit platform... but am not to sure about the gas cap and lack of foam... any thoughts?

They make that exact same type of tank, only with a built in sump; I have one in my buggy, though I can't remember who it is made by.
