I have been having a little trouble with my tig welding so I went on youtube for a quick refresher. Most of the videos were too simple to be much good but some provided links to sites selling DVDs. Some of these guys can really weld but the DVDs are kind of dear and I was wondering if anybody has had any luck with "the metal school" or "welding tips and tricks"or any DVDs they thought might be useful.

After looking at the videos on welding tips and tricks I wondered why my welds looked so different and went back to the Miller page about set up. The salesman had recommended the set up I was using and it was completely WRONG. :BH: Thanks for the site and on to my suspension bits.

I tried watching the video, but my helmet kept going dark. Am I doing it wrong?

I just received Ron Covell's "MIG Welding Made Easy" video. I'm not all the way through all 70 minutes yet, but so far so good. Ron is a master metalsmith and excellant teacher that I have admired for a number of years. I expect I'll be getting more of his DVD's.
Check it out here: http://www.covell.biz/
