Found this site while looking for sway bar parts. They have that and a lot more. Haven't done business with them, but will probably get sway bar parts from them.

+1 on that. I too have been on the hunt for just such a site. I was poking around and couldn't find anything to mount the bar to the chassis with. I wonder do they sell a pillow block or something rigid for this? I'd like to stay away from polyeurathane if possible.

Chetcpo,

If you find those rigid mounts let me know, I've been looking for those too.

You could make them yourself with 1" thick by 3" wide plate (plastic or aluminum) using a drill press and band saw. Cut into 2.5-3" long pieces, depending on the size of the sway bar. Drill the bolt holes, cut the bracket in half, place bolts in the holes to clamp it back together, then drill the bars od. If using plastic, make a top plate of .125" strip to span the bolts.

If you want to make a trick bracket for holding something else that is round but doesn't rotate, like a steering column or fuel filter, drill the parts od before cutting the bracket in half. The material removed by the band saw will be enough to clamp the filter when the bolts are tightened.

After looking over HRP's products, I have to say thier products are overpriced. I'm sure there is a better supplier, maybe they just dont have an online store to buy it from.

Has anyone found a source for chassis tabs similar to these or the ones A&A sales that might fit smaller diameter tubes and are thinner guage material. The Governor would turn over in his grave if we were to use 1/8 thick tabs welded to 16 ga tubes. He didn't even use 16 ga tubes.
