3 years ago I imported an MK Indy from the UK and in the meantime I have partially completed the build. My interests have changed and my lack of time and space is resulting in me looking into if there's any interest in someone purchasing my project.

It is Miata based, has a JDM (low miles) 1800cc motor and transmission installed and I have a video of the motor running. The diff is a VLSD, but it needs new seals, and I purchased brand new drive shafts for it. The complete suspension has been mocked up and fits perfectly. It comes with FG seats, belts, steering, body parts, Kosei wheels fitted with Hankook Ventus tires. Brand new stock brakes all around. I'd say about 90% of the parts to complete. It needs the cooling and fuel systems built to get it running. I also have another complete (but ratty) 1.8L Miata with racing suspension that I want to part with. I also have piles of other Miata and suitable parts that are included.

I haven't thought too deeply about selling price yet, it depends somewhat on the buyer. I'm thinking in the $7500 range for the whole package. I'd be happy to let the Miata and MK go separately.

The project and I are located in Arizona. See below link for piles of pics and current build progress. If there's interest I'll put together any other photos that are required.

-Steve

I have decided to drop the price on this to $6500 to help it go to a good home. I am also open to offers. I will put together a pile of photos and upload them here later. Please contact me if you're interested in this project.

Steve,

Sorry to see you give up on the Seven. Was it your back that forced the decision?

Tom

Hi Tom, how's things? My back is a lot of the reason, yes.

That would be a long haul ... what fun, though.

Steve,

I gave up on buying or trying to finish other's kits so I just bought a Superformance S-1. Lot of fun. Maybe I could drive it down to your place one evening and see how far along you are. You're like on 27 ave right? In the South Mountain foothils?

A lot of time I wish I'd done the same. I can't imagine it would have cost me that much more money and I would have had it to use. Nice purchase.

I do still live in the same place ... :)

Sorry to hear about your health getting in the way of finishing your car. I showed this to my wife last night and asked her if she wanted a new car. She doesn't want one like mine, but thinks it would be a good project for me and the kids to bond over. Too bad I'm in Canada. My parents go to Arizona with their motorhome in the winter sometimes, maybe if you still have it then I can talk them into hauling it back for me.

I read your build thread and am interested in the pics of its current state, along with details about the Miata if it's still included. druzzz@yahoo.com or posted here. Thanks.

I will put together some photos of the current state of the Indy and post them up here.

The Miata I had for sale is already sold.
