The fellas (Mike and Edd) on the "Wheeler Dealers" just bought and refurbished a Caterham 7. They bought their well used 7 directly from the Caterham factory as an ex-drift car. it was interesting to watch what they did to "improve" the car. It especially humorous watching both of them get in and out of the car.

If you get a chance watch the show.

Roy

Cool video, thanks for the link!
three most interesting parts I saw were
1) He could do donuts without holding on to the steering wheel, without the wheel re centering, maybe because it wasn't really going forward?
2) They put the front cycle fenders on with polyurethane sealant on the supports from the factory and when he replaced them, said it worked well reducing vibration on them
3) He removed the key, and put the immobilizer in with a 12v output, then he had a 3 way start/run/kill switch which made for a pretty slick setup.

Also lots of fun action shots! Thanks!

Nice, just leaving a comment so I remember to come back and watch the show. I really like the way Ed works constantly teaching difference techniques as he goes.

Thanks for the link  SHMBO and I watched it on the big screen. Just like a real TV show without the commercials.

I never understand why Mike always sells at what appears to be under market value. but he does sell quickly.

Well, it is a scripted show after all, so I think that is why they buy and sell at those prices. The advertising pays all the bills. I relly like the show, it's soooo much better than any other car show on the tube and net.

Not sure why Ed was wearing that massively oversized jacket at the end. Did he lose a bet or was it some reference to the Prisoner.

I like the dropped pan option. That pressurized coolant header tank looks like a vw unit I just ordered off ebay for the go4, switching to a low mount mid-90s honda radiator in the airflow to replace the festiva one behind the seat.

I didn't have time to watch it yet, but thought it funny that they sold it at the "Rally of the Giants" - UK's largest american car show .
