The steering column is fabbed and in place. Everything is very close to centered on the wheel; really going to be fun to drive.

Man this build log is loooooong overdue for an update!

After some time on the back burner (and with much appreciated patience from Garm) we were able to get back to this mid engine madness - here are some of the latest and greatest!
We finished the cooling system plumbing and exhaust system.
Coolant pipes are all hard lines, bend to shape and bead rolled, we're just waiting for the specific rubber couplers we bought for the car -

Exhaust sys was very tricky because of the tight space constraints.
We wanted to make sure we build the header with equal length primaries and secondaries which made it even trickier, but the end it all worked out with some creative use of the space -

More to come soon, we're have a bunch of parts on order for the fuel system and at the rate things are going it won't be much longer before we can fire up this baby :)

I know you're not done but I think you need a little more bracing for the front subframe you've made. I think the braking loads will bend those rear lower rear tubes, I put in a couple of red lines for one idea....

Hey Marcus,

If you look at the floor you'll notice that there are a couple of sheet metal beams that we cut aimed squarely at the pick up points.
I intend to redo them when we get to the point that we add the sheet metal back, along with additional reinforcement from the tunnel.

Excellent build. The quaife diff with 4.7 diff gear ratio. Did you use the 1:1 transfer ratio or the 1:1.25 transfer ratio offered by Quaife.

I intend using this diff for my project, in where I am putting a CBR1000RR into my ZOT.
