I've always been a little leery of gullwing doors as the though of being in a rollover accident and just being Spam in a Can terrifies me. Same goes for this. <shudder> :shock: I will grant you it's still pretty cool.

Easily removed pins. But how many cars do you see upside down vs spun out or crashed sideways?

The pics of a guy getting in and out of this are kinda funny.

I've seen rear-hinged setups that work much better. If I build a top, I will go that route.

Call it that if you wish. Every convertible that I have owned closes at the top of the windshield and clamps shut there. I don't see anything different there. With 2 toggle clamps, one on each of the stanchions, I never felt that I made a bad decision. It sure was easy to get in and out of. :cheers:
