Now that is a great idea!!!!! And you can still make it home in time to pick up the kids at the sitter. Russ

I've got it on my calendar, but that's a tough sell for Mama.

As my wife said to me a couple of years ago after we became empty-nesters and I asked her what she wanted to do for Mother's Day:

"I'm not your mother"

She also prefers manual transmissions.

Just spent an interesting/fun couple of day with Russ (trialsmangasgas) and his friend John laying out runs for this years Midwest Gathering. Fortunately, we have no shortage of interesting roads here in the Ozarks. They also spent some time checking out some of our local eateries, and were favorably impressed by most of them. I'm sure that everyone that attends will have a great time!

Thanx, Guys for letting me join in on the preps!

Yes, we laid out a bunch of runs. Currently we are looking at a Friday run of either 224 miles (long run) or 166 miles (short run) and a Saturday run of 273 miles (long run) or 174 miles (short run). With smaller runs on Thursday ans Sunday for those who want to go on those. Host motel will be the Ramada Mountain Home. I have not talked to them about group rates yet. More details to follow shortly. Russ

Alas, we will not be able to make it this year. You folks have a great time, though!
