So I bought my 7 a few years ago Already road worthy but i never met or talked to the Guy who built it.
I have slowly figured out whats what over the years. but i am still not sure what my suspension is from.
either a old Datson or Toyota?
The brakes in this car have always been a bit rubish So i need to figure out what i have before i can see what up grade options i have.
I am adding pics to help.
I am not even 100% sure if the fronts & the rear are from the same vehicle? who knows.
The rear end is about 50 in in width.

Bolt patt is 4 x 114.3 i think

























if you have some ideas let me know. Or can think of a good place to search.

Those callipers and rotors look very similar to the 1979 Toyota Corona pieces I'm using for the Topolino build. Same with the diff, I even have the same rear brake hose to line 'Y' I see in your pics. Bolt pattern is also 4 x 114.3 (4 x 4 1/2").

Yeah you are right it does look just like yours. Are u using corona front spindles? Cause they look completely different.

Yes I am, and yes they are different from your spindles, mine are modified from McPherson strut spindles. Your's most likely come off a Toyota truck.
But I do think you are looking at an older Toyota front end.

Yeah, looks like old Toyota stuff. Rear diff looks like Toyota's copy of the Ford 9". 70s to mid 80s.

I could be wrong (and probably am) but those look kinda like early Toyota Land Cruiser front brake calipers, however 1) no land cruiser ever had a 4x4.5 bolt pattern, and 2) they used vented discs. That being said, the face of those wheel hubs with the 4 rectangular pockets looks fairly unique. I would suggest that you seek out an experienced old school Toyota mechanic at a dealership and show him those pictures to see if he recognizes the hubs or calipers. You might also be able to narrow down the source of the brake rotors from the diameter, thickness, and hat height.

Front spindles look like the ones I am using from an 80's Toyota Van. I believe the calipers are the same as a Celica. The calipers are cheap from RockAuto.

I would bet the front spindles are Toyota, but they can not be from an 80's Toyota Van. I'm using Van spindles and they have bolt-on steering arms. I'm also using 80's Celica disc and they are vented. You may be looking 70's vintage Toyota parts. DaveW

the brakes a defiantly corona ... but the spindle doesnt look like a corona, or a van or pickup or a celica ,or corolla from that erea that i can find good picks of.

Early 70's Toyota Corona including spindles.

Solid rotor, 3 bolt LBJ, and steering arm on same side as the caliper narrows it down a bit.

To be more precise, Toyota Corona 74-78, Corona Mark II 69-76. Other models invert the LBJ.
