Summer doldrums, Oboma economy?
You would expect a car like this to be snapped up quickly in the summer.

Looks like you need to expand your marketing, B.A.T., Kit Car listing, the show at Knott's Berry Farm?

Combine the information from your post above for a complete description with price.

I'm still interested in the spare engine if your eventual buyer does not take it.
Been looking for one and found several at distant bike salvage yards but they all seem to be stripped of intake, exhaust, wiring, etc.
My business picks up around Sept, may contact you directly then about the spare engine if it's still around.

I'm relatively interested but it's my first dip into the locost arena. How trouble free or simple is this to keep up and running? I can see this in my garage replacing my track miata.

You might also try the Cars and Coffee meets in San Diego, La Jolla and Carlsbad. Those plus the local autocross meets at Qualcom might find you a ready buyer.

Nice car, by the way.

Cheers,

Richard and Lonnie,
Thanks for the advice! I haven't advertised the car beyond this forum yet. I've also been enjoying commuting in it to work every Friday this summer, so I have been tardy with expanding my search. Car's & Coffee and autocross are good suggestions, I must take a look.

Pullthatwigback - regarding reliability, this car has never let me down or left me stranded. Having previously owned older classics such as MG's, Alfa's and VW's, I have had my share of roadside surprises. I guess when you start from scratch with a ground up build with a modern power-plant, new electrics and new plumbing all round, you essentially have a new car. I'll admit it took me some time to have the courage to leave my kit bag full of tools behind, but I ended up never using them.

Do please let me know if you are interested in following up and I can take you for a drive (or a 3rd party on your behalf if you are not close by).

Thanks,
Rob

Yes it is still for sale, let me know if you are interested. No reverse, although one could be fitted, either a commercially available one, or custom. I toyed with the idea but never saw the need.

Are you offering financing?

Have you tried posting at the Grassroots Motorsports site?

Love that car.

Yeah, I am also very interested in this car. Especially after missing out on ace3 and Chris Fiaccione's updated se7en. Need to thin the herd though.

I'm still interested in the spare engine if it becomes available.
