Not sure who is selling this one... I got the notification on this from eBay thought I'd pass it along.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/264203513667?ul_noapp=true

For sale is a Hand made “book chassis” lotus copy so it is all original lotus super 7 dimensions. I am 6 foot 2 and 225lbs and fit easily. Combination of Mig welding the frame and Tig welding the roll cage and suspension components. professionally built track car this is also street legal and registered and insured in Florida as a 1985 rx7. Drive train is 2001 low mileage Mazda Miata 1.8 vvti and 5spd Manual trans. Motor is controlled by megasquirt ms3 enhanced ecu rx8 injectors, innovate integrated wide band oxygen sensor with learning and engine protection. Boost is made by a GT2871r turbo with integrated waste gate and turbo smart boost solenoid controlled by ecu. Motor has new timing belt water pump and tensioner, zero blow by, only runs 13 (can easily handle more) pounds of boost and made 281hp and 236tq to the rear tires on a mustang brand dyno. Car was tuned professionally and kept very conservative to make sure the car could handle track days and street driving on 93 octane (I ran 93 and race gas 50/50 mix as added protection when driving in hot track conditions but not nessesary). Oil cooler is a 24 row bar and plate aluminum with -10 an lines. Rear end is modified 4 link with panhard bar, full spherical bearings, 85 rx7 “big axle” housing with 4.10 Torsen limited slip diff from a Miata “new”. Disk brakes front and rear, 3 way adjustable shocks all 4 corners, unequal length a arm setup up front. Willwood pedal box with dual 5/8 brake master cylinders with front rear bias control. Tilton clutch master, stage 3 act clutch and pressure plate rated at 300hp (never had an issue) two kirkey aluminum race seats with 5 point harnesses. Billet rack and pinion steering 1 1/2 turns lock to lock. 12 gallon welded fuel tank with return less fuel system all AN lines no rubber junk. Center triangle net, I used arm restraints while at track days to keep arms inside just in case. Paint shows rock chips from track days but could easily be repainted. Car has sunbrella top that can be laced in place like a boat T top used as shade in Florida summers. 4 kossi k1 forged wheels with dot r compound tires with good life left. Car has blinkers, removable head lights, marker lights and of course brake lights. Runs and drives flawless, includes carbon HANS device, lg helmet with Hans attachment points and a nomex suit if you want it (it’s clean) I have spare good transmission because the one in the car has very slight 1-2 shift grind (not an issue on the street or track never use 1st gear) I have the car listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. Car MUST be picked up locally no exceptions. $1,000 immediate deposit required. I have perfect feed back and would like to keep it that way. Cashiers/bank check and accompany me to my bank for validation or of course cash. Clean title in hand.

1952 MG TD - $3950 - El Cajon, CA (San Diego)

I have no association with this car, and have not seen it in person.

It is a true frame-up restoration, but it looks pretty complete. It is certainly within the capabilities of many in these forums. It looks pretty cheap to me. If I had space for it, I'd like to have it myself.

Surprised the ad is still up as of 3:50 PM.
If I had the money I would be on my way to get it.
I would arrive just in time to see it go past me on another trailer.
Been there, done that, more than once! :BH:

OK, not strictly Locost related, but somewhat is. I just stumbled upon this little gem on the Chicago Craigslist. It is a Ascender Ultralight. barn find. I had to look it up and found it is a Pterodactyl Ascender. I recognized the Pterodactyl name as being designed by our own Jack McCornack of Kinetic Vehicles. For only $700, you too can have a piece of history (that needs restoration)

Located here in the Chicago area, 40 pcs of 1 in square 16 ga steel tube 20 ft long. Pics show nice clean steel. $600. That's 0.75 per ft if you buy the whole lot.

feeBay find of the day?

Expensive, needs an "Egg-Crate" grill, but nicely done and looks pretty good except for the exhaust and silly* Maserati emblems.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-Lotus-Other-One-of-a-kind/264542313324?hash=item3d97f35b6c:g:MUgAAOSwvIld2ByT

*No Maserati parts present, so the emblems are rather pretentious.

Not eBay or Craigslist, but maybe of interest to some Canadian members. I was at princess auto today and they had a pneaumatic flange/punch tool (part # 8531980) on the bargain cart by the front door. Apparently they're discontinued and my local store had them on for $35, down from $125 or $130.
