What is the od of the control arm pivots? Looks like your dims are to the outside edge. I'm guessing 1/5-2 inch od?
To level the lca at ride height (5 inch gc?) you may find the lcaps are too low for the tire od (subtract ½ inch from the tire bottom for the bulge at the right pressure for the weight). What is the tire size?
Raising the lcaps would allow for longer lca and may improve the geometry but it is too soon to tell with not enough info. If you start with an lca that is not long enough, the uca can end up too short to clear the coilover in full droop so maximize the lca length if you intend to just build around that. May do better to use the stock ubj also since the shank of a rod end can get in the way with a short uca.
I'd use the stock press in lbj too. Easy to make the seat. Racers usually add a little stitch weld to the edge of the lbj if the press fit is too easy or just for insurance.
Let me know if you get hung up on anything in vsusp or just want feedback.
Since this is a trike, making one end handle well with really good camber gain is not a big deal when the rear cannot have any gain in roll. May be better to limit the handling of the front for balance and 3 wheel drifting. I would not put too much effort into it at the expense of aesthetics or making more work for yourself once you start painting toward a corner.
I’d concentrate on level lca at ride height (tire sitting ½ inch low), mark ucaps location on frame with spindle at 90 deg to the ground, then move the ucaps aft one inch for caster, 200 lb or less springs for lots of travel bump and droop with coming off spring seat, near vertical coilover for better damping and lower spring rate requirement, no bumpsteer through most of the normal travel of one inch droop to full compression.
I may take you up on using the vsusp program, just stated using it last night. But it seems to be an excellent program. I do have concerns on the coilovers, I will probably just tack up the first set of A arms, to try everything out. I am deffinately learning a lot as I go, But enjoying it...
