There's an old TV documentary about Caterham and I remembered one exchange. They were having a meeting about the possibility of making a mid-engine Seven, and the subject of the then-new Lotus Elise came up. Someone asked, "so you don't think the Elise is good looking?", and Graham Nearn, then Caterham CEO, said "no." Oy...
