Maybe this “blowing smoke…” could be rephrased as:
“I may be complimenting you too much for one session.”
Hey, I have no idea where this slang phrase came from, this English (American) is a crazy language after all.
Cheers buddy ! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your posts of new adventures.

Well, then. A lot of time has passed since the last recording, and a lot of interesting things have happened during that time. I'll start with a little background story. In the fall, I went for a ride on a mountain road and tore the clutch (once again). Let's consider this as a starting point. In consultation with a friend, I decided that the stock clutch does not hold so much momentum. This means that the standard clutch is the first to be replaced with a larger area clutch. The next improvement was rubber, but not just new, but wider for the rear axle. Now the 205th esa will live there. But she won't just get up there. We need new wider 8j discs. I searched all the sites and found these beautiful discs. but! It's not easy again. They got up on their ass normally, but in front of me they puzzled me. The disc rested against the brake caliper. The simple solution is to put spacers, but we are not looking for easy ways. I decided to make a new center of the brake disc and thereby displace the caliper. The photo shows that I managed to do it. Then there were thoughts about whether we should play with the exhaust. And after some research, such a concept came to light. In general, let's see how she performs both on the stand and on the track.

Hello everyone. Well, the racing season has started. My first trip this year was a rally sprint in Irkutsk, but I decided not to write about it. It was a test event, and we mainly focused on testing the reliability of new and old components. Today, I want to tell you about our journey to Krasnoyarsk during the first stage of Time Attack.
Let's start by acknowledging that the trip was not easy. Every three hours, we checked the weather websites. The weather forecast for the day of the competition predicted rain, and it was unclear whether we would show a good time. However, despite our best efforts, the weather still failed us, but more on that later.
Back on the road! This time, we were delighted with two new detours around Usolye: Sibirsk and Kansk. The journey became more enjoyable and faster. Throughout the trip, the weather was pleasant. However, upon our arrival in the region on May 28, we were greeted by a snowfall))). As is our tradition, we headed to the booth to see the improvements.
We drove for 2 hours at the stand and went to our good friends and competitors at blue smoke rasyng to weigh the car. Unfortunately, the car gained weight and became 580kg. I think it's all about the diffuser, the top cover, and the new wheels, which all added a little bit of weight. After that, we took the car to the track and went home to rest.
The next day was a training day. The weather was terrible, with temperatures around 8°C and a light drizzle, and this continued for the first two sessions. However, the weather slightly improved during the third session. In training, I drove 47 laps and improved my personal record to 1.01.427, which is the fastest atmo time on the red ring. All the Hondas are behind me, but I'm not satisfied. I could go faster))
The next day is a competition day. Just one qualification and one race. The weather is generally terrible. The rain dries up and so on all day. I didn't even write down my qualifications in the wet. I missed a turn a couple of times, the horror is shorter. And such weather threatened to be in the finals. But standing in the pitlane waiting for our class. I heard there was a GT class race going on, and right before my eyes I can hear them approaching their records. And then there's the hope that I'll be able to drive as I dream. But as always, I make mistakes in places, and sometimes I run into slow competitors. For example, the A90's wife))))). It was so fun to catch up with her))) In the end, the official time was 1.01.661. It wasn't great. However, I was very happy for Dima in the turbo Mazda RX-7, who set a record for the red car that was established back in 2013. Afterward, there was an award ceremony and a friendly gathering to discuss who drove how. "That's all I can tell you about the Vietnam War" (c) Forest Gump)))))

Glad to hear you're enjoying the car.
Great write up, love to read about other Locoster's and what they are doing with their cars after the build.
I just realized, after following your build and looking at many pictures of your car that it has no windshield!
Keep the updates coming

Hello everyone. Well, that's how the Irkutsk Rally Sprint Championship ended. I'll tell you how the stage went for me. During the break between stages, I upgraded my car again. I replaced the exhaust system and worked on the brakes, specifically replacing the brake cylinder for better performance and customization options. I also installed stiffer engine mounts. So, As usual, I went through the registration process in the morning. I got in line for the practice runs. I turned on the flight-chrono on my phone, but as it turned out, nothing was recorded because of the small track and the lack of an antenna. However, everything was recorded on my dashboard. After the workout, my friend and I sat down to analyze what had happened. The program showed that I could drive 2 seconds faster. We divided the circle into sectors and worked out every moment (trajectory, speed, start of entry and exit). And what do you think? In the qualification, I managed to roll out and take off these 2 seconds. Hurray! I'm the first. After that, we watched and I could only improve by 0.5 seconds. Then there were pair races. Something happened to me, and I relaxed. And in doubles, I just started messing up, either I didn't get into the trajectory, or I polished at the start, or I started late, or I missed the braking and went off the trajectory, and then it became difficult for me to get back into it. In short, I wasn't satisfied with my performance in this regard. Additionally, I could see my opponent driving faster out of the corner of my eye, which also put pressure on me. Overall, I struggled to cope with my emotions. However, I managed to make it onto the platform. It was an excellent opportunity to practice not only my technical skills but also my mental resilience. The organizers are great, and the gifts are amazing.
