Locost 11 R1

Here is where the build logs go for non-traditional build logs. Mid-engine, three wheelers, you name it. If it's not your typical Locost it goes here.

Well.........
An old mechanic I apprenticed under had a saying.

Thanks ,Perry

Made a mounting plate that can be removed for work.
Also played with the heat-inserts for mounts. It has a tip that attaches to the soldering iron to heat the insert.
The board is 1/4" ABS . Works great. Undersized hole and then just melt it in, easy.

And wires , wires, wires

Looks like the site is fixed.

Starting to rap thing up. That is with tape. After doing some pining and taping I decided to get rid of the terminal block.
It just did not look right. So it will be Deutsch Connectors. Man they do not give the tools away, but their are very clean.

Have been waiting for some electrical stuff and did some other work for another project.
Just some clean-up and paint. Will never finish it but it keeps me thinking.

Here is a better shot.
They're for a 914 Porsche.
Beed blasted the a polish on the outer rim ring.
Paint is Por-15 top coat in silver for the back and side.
Should help with sealing them up and with cleaning brake dust.
Will use Ceracoat Alum clear for the face.

P.S. Taking off 25 year old tires sucks with a manual tire changer is work. :ack:
