This is my Sierra propshaft. I just removed the "doughnut" and i came with this triangle flange. Could someone suggest how i am going to connect this 3-bolt flange with the 4-bolt sprocket adaptor fitted to the motorcycle engine?

Option 1 - cut off the drive shaft end and use a more universal end that'll mate with the adapter.

Option 2 - fab a 3 to 4 bolt adapter out of ~30mm thick steel

Option 3 - ditch the adapter. Fab yourself one from the output sprocket that'll mate with the driveshaft end.

My vote would go with #1 ;) . Especially if the driveshaft isn't the perfect length already...

If the doughnut is a Guibo you might want to look at this topic.

http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtop ... ight=guibo

If you can mount the Guibo between the engine and the center drive shaft bearing, at the bearing end of a two drive shaft setup at an angle of less than 2° you're all set.

This would take the place of the rubber shock absorber that is usually used at the rear sprocket of a motorcycle (a form of a a Guibo).

I would also really consider option #3 because you will fabricate an adaptor to make for the distance required and no need to cut and wed the propshaft, so no safety issues.
