While we have a suppliers section, I didn't see anything targeting specific racing needs. I added this topic to help address that issue. I put it in locost racing but feel free to move it to the suppliers section if you feel it's more appropriate.

The first link I'd like to add is the SFI vendors page. While it's not perfect and there are a few outdated/broken links, it's a great first line resource to find products that meet specific SFI requirements.

Yo, Erioshi-
Good idea, Mate... I can toss in a few links, circle track stuff for the most part. It tends to be solid, perhaps a bit heavier-duty than a Locost really demands, but it won't break. And, better still, it's cheap! The same kind of stuff from -say- Factory Five costs a LOT more... So, without further palaver from me, and in no particular order...

Okey dokey... I'll stop now. There's some others, but I think everybody knows Summit, Speedway and Jegs.
And, of course, I'm not affiliated with any of the above, don't get sales commissions, etc.

One more, slightly OT, but...

I've never bought from these folks, but their website looks good. They have aluminum sheet, mill finish or painted, for some decent prices.

This is a road racing oriented place. They have a good selection of spherical bearings to put on outer end of your front lower wishbone, for instance.

These links are for something to look forward to - actually running your Locost. Lot's of SFI safety equipment from socks to helmets etc.

I'll put in a plug for these folks. They are related, Trackside Tim used to be SafeQuip and sold that part of his business to RaceQuip. They do the custom work on safety harnesses etc. I got my Willans 6 point harness re-webbed from these folks for something like $75.

Good thread. For anyone in central Kentucky, SR Racing - http://www.sracing.com/ - is awesome. I've stopped mail-ordering racing parts...they are unbeatable and very helpful. Located in Lexington on the northeast side.

Yo, Horizen-
I wondered what had happened to SafeQuip! Thanks for 'splaining that.
