I thought I started one of these along time ago but I guess I forgot to.
Basically its a book frame- stretched in the cabin and 4 inches wider. Tbird running gear and a 2.3 turbo ford engine. Should be in the 225 to 275 horse range.
Body work is partially mgb (scuttle and rear trunk area, the hood and nose are one piece with the center of the hood molded from the mgb hood.
Just took my first drive (out of the garage and to the corner and back on Fathers day last week. Only 2300 days into the build.
Heres a quick youtube clip of it ( the youngest was filming so its real shakey at points.

I like the combo bodywork. Going to look great once it's prepped and painted!

i like the use under the front fender for battery location.

i used to work on morgans so i find the bodyworl appealing.

Oh man, that's going to be great! I think it's been about a year since you posted your bodywork progress, it is so cool! I love the fenders.

"I know ever"
I laughed so hard I almost fell on the floor, my wife asks the same thing everytime I take the AMX out, can I park my car in the garage now?
I say No, no room, and under her breath I faintly hear "I know ever".
Every womans tag line that want access to 'the man garage'

Thank your wife for the bright spot in my day, unfortunately I wont be showing your You Tube clip to my wife, I dont need the stress  .

Love all the hard work you have done.

Al

Dale - is the hood hinged, or does it lift off? Love the vintage look. I can't access the video (at work) so sorry if the answer is in the video.

That was the only brake at the time as there was not a drive shaft in it yet (or brakes).
Right now the brakes only are the front. Just converted my el cheapo surplus center coil overs to 2.5 inch qa1 coils (350lb) for the front and time to see if that will put the front end at my hoped for height.
The hood is hinged at the front. I was making it so the fenders came up with it as well but its just too much flex when the hinge is at the very front of the nose. I have to figure out a way of making the fenders quick remove.

I caught that remark by your wife. I laughed and thought, "Cherish that woman". My wife is of that nature and I am forever grateful. You should be, too.
