I saw a few pictures of this car posted on the UK board and some Googling yielded this site: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/speedex/index.htm

Apparently the original was based on the Austin 7.

I like the styling as a different approach to the Locost. Is anyone aware of a Locost Speedex?

I haven't been able to find a clean shot of only the chassis but it appears to be pretty simple as well.

Andy,
I also agree I kinda kike the style. I looks like the body bulges outward in the passenger area. It would make it easier to use a wider more comfortable pair of seats that could be bought from a variety of sources.

Yo, Andrew-
It is a good looking car, agreed. I went to the UK site, googled stuff, and found more shots. Image Also an enthusiast website, with some info and more pics: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/speedex/index_files/Page2113.htm

The main feature I like is the aggressive, forward leaning nose. It would give a slight high-pressure to the air just under that forward edge, and pull more of it into the rad, I guess... Mostly, it just looks good!

Thanks for posting!
