Speedway Aluminum Bomber Seats
Have anyone tried using these seats?

They look like an awefuly good deal. I plan to mount them with some sliders.

I'm using them on my Wildcat build. I'm happy with them. I didn't purchase the upholstery yet. I wanted to see if the seats worked for me first.

Re: Speedway Aluminum Bomber Seats
Do you know the actual width of the seat? The product page says 16.75 wide, while a review said 17.25 wide. I got only about 17.25 inches of space.

Thanks! It would be greatly appreciated to confirm all this before I order.

Fit large, thick "fender" washers in the inside to reduce bending and tear through during an accident where the belt doesn't help, such as being rear-ended.

Re: Speedway Aluminum Bomber Seats
The base is 16inches wide. But it's 17.1/4 inches across the leading edge of the seat. That's at the height to the top of where the seat cusion would be. From there it flares to 17 5/8inches to the hips.
I've ended up bending the seat a little at the thighs through the hip area to get them to fit my car.
Good luck!
