Hello all
My dad recently purchased a Torchmate CNC plasma table. It is a great machine and can cut any metal (stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel etc...) up to 3/8" thick and 4' x 8'. If anyone is looking for plasma cut parts such as gussets, header flanges, suspension mounting tabs and other similar parts let me see what we can do for you. The machine comes with software that allows us to scan a picture and cut a part to match so the sky is the limit. We are located in Lethbridge, Alberta, so for all you Canadian builders here is your chance to get some parts and not have to deal with duty, brokerage and all the charges that come along with getting parts across the border. We will ship to the US as well, don't want to leave anybody out! Feel free to contact me here or email me directly at glenfriesen AT hotmail.com.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have some pictures of things we have cut, if there is interest I will post them here.

Wow, I will probably be contacting you. I'm in Edmonton, so shipping won't even be that bad.

I had some stainless parts CNC plasma-cut. However, since it's plasma it leaves a hardened crust along the cut edge that must be removed before welding - especially for stainless. That's not difficult if you have the right tools but removing it also make the parts smaller... something I learned the hard way.

Yes, the black stuff must be removed before welding stainless. We use some laser cut parts at work and I am going to see if they will do some small orders for me, so in the future laser cut parts might be an option as well.

Here are some pictures of some pieces I cut for my sons room. Most of these are raw, meaning they have not been sanded or cleaned up at all yet. All the parts are 16 gauge mild steel except for the stainless steel cover I cut to install a car stereo in our holiday trailer.

The small header flange is a test part I cut to see how accurate the machine was cutting. It will be cut out of 3/8" 304 stainless steel when the time comes to rebuild the exhaust on my Subaru powered 550 Beck Spyder.

Not much automotive stuff yet but I have a bumper to build for a buddies Landcruiser. I will post pictures when its finished.

I think this would be perfect fot cutting instrument panels.

P.S. The flaming skull is not for my sons room. I just thought it looked cool. 8)

Looks great! I need to do something like that for the rear of my old Toyota truck. What did you use to bend the metal? What is it, 3/16"?

Correct, it is 3/16. We have a 250 ton x 10 foot press brake at work. So bending the material was no problem.

Make a template out of cardboard and we can cut and bend it for you!

Here's a few pictures of it with the grill guard and a quick coat of flat black spay paint.

Here are some Bar-B-Q griddles we made for a local car dealer. 1/4" mild steel.
