Engine is a 2.5 Iron Duke
, but at least it is a five speed.

Around the corner from me is a Bradly GT*, also very cheap, complete with title.
6" difference in track but only 1.1" difference in wheelbase.

Then I had another thought, modern TERRAPIN!
I'm not a fan of passengers in general and certainly not when driving for too much fun.
Single-seat road cars are legal here if kept light enough!

So now I wonder what might make a good swap without silly expense?
And no, the 2.8 V6 is not an answer, different trans.
Seats appear to be very nice, wonder if they would fit in my GT6?
I will be selling the three 17" Hoopety rims and using the original 14's.
*One of the ugliest VW Bug based mass production kit cars ever conceived.
But very simple and easy to modify.
