doing a resto mod microcar and I have difficulty sourcing small and light seats , saw the one in the picture but cant seems to find them , can anyone identify them

Any ultralight aircraft seat would serve your purpose, there are many brands out there.

From what I remember, the seats in the posted photo were Lotus 23 seats. My friend did the resto on that car, but unfortunately I haven't chatted with him in quite some time.

Those seats look like they could be older (1970's, 1980's) go-kart seats. Todays karting seats are more form fitted but are very supportive and very light.

hi guys thanks for the help , I look at both the lotus 23 seat and the airplane ones, they are pretty close but not quite

I also found some go kart seats that might do ,

on the airplane site , the picture is not great, but they are in Canada , so I might drive it , or even if I ship it , its less expensive , in many cases , shipping is either close or more expensive than the seat and they are not so great at giving dimensions,

will call the airplane peoples just to see if they have more

Consider room for shoulder width when fitting buckets. I suppose if there is no top and you sit high enough, the top of the body can be an armrest but they can't be too close together. Not as pretty but it is hard to beat a flat bench. You are where you are with buckets.

You could have essentially flat bench for touring and a drop in center divider (like rigid curtains but an upholstered panel) for autocross.
