I would also like to know what ever came of this idea. I'll be needing a ho - bonnet quite soon and think it would make a lot of sense to get it from the same source as my scuttle and nose cone.

I've been noodling over how long it would take to sell the first half dozen...which in my experience is the break even point on fiberglass tooling (not including a wage for Yours Truly). The other challenge is how to make them fit different chassis, 'cause you know if I make one for the "book" Locost, guys with +442 chassis will feel left out.

It sounded interesting to me too, but it was going to be waaay too expensive to tool and ship, and one hood/bonnet does not fit all.
