I only have the ability to transport the 20 lb bottle, once you own the bottle you just swap 1 for 1 at the place

I did not want a big bottle myself, but that is all they had, so I settled with that. I wanted a 60 one.
I place it across the rear seat floor, or on the seats.

I'm shocked they'll let you put it inside a vehicle.
The local welding supply I used to use for helium when I was a dealership porter would only supply gas if you had an open transportation method (I'd grab a used truck off the lot).
They 100% would not give you anything if you were putting it inside a vehicle.

It is not safe at all I know, but they care less, what you do with them after I stepped outside their doors.
It's not far from my house, and I drive on the streets carefully.

Was surprised I went through gas that quickly but I am getting close to finishing the basic frame.

Workibg on the trabs tunnel. Trying to get height and trans position figured out. It would be ideal if the transmission fit further back, but that would narrow the petal area too much I think.

It's a good time to know exactly how much pedal space width you will require before deciding on setback. Thinner or relocated tubes around the tunnel, narrow strip throttle pedal like the originals that are also very tight. Make a box out of wood or anything and put your feet with normal shoes on in there to get an idea on minimum width to hit the pedals separately. Pads can be narrowed and offset.

One inch of pan hanging below the bottom rails is common.

There are shifter relocating kits available as well. At least I have seen on UK Youtube videos, like GBS for example. They have a nice video, where they show everything that they install, change on these setups.

Here is my 442E, shifter location, and engine space distance to the firewall.

More pictures with my setup. Mine is a 6 speed NC. I had to chop off some aluminum chunks, to make the space wider.
At the front I have a "bend" at the clutch arm. This gives me more pedal space. Trans is very very close to the chassis.
On the left, I will be adding a dead pedal as well, course something very small, welded to the chassis. An L shape style with holes.
I have seen somebody around here with that dead pedal, and I really like it.
I had to notch a bit the frame, to add the NC steering column, for the tilt. Not sure if it's worth it, it's barely tilting a bit, but it could be useful.
Check out my $19 Ebay gas pedal. I had to machine some 841 bronze bushings, because the nylon ones were way to loose for my likening.

Thanks for the pics. I noticed the same thing with the slave cylinder situation. What is your distance mating surface to firewall?

As you see, that coolant hose almost touches the frame.

I have a 5-speed which is a bit smaller. The bell housing and slave cylinder really start to encroach on pedal space on that side especially. Your going to need at least 1/2" clearance on any hard parts and connectors. Also routing of wiring loom and brake lines past the transmission. Seems like a lot to get it that 3" further back.
