Post subject:  Rear end question?

Hello all.....
Started second build in two years, already have road legal seven type car, now i started my trackday project, FIAT 20VT engine used with BMW E39 gearbox, lot of experience with it, can easily produce 350bhp on stock internals.
Anyway, my second chassis is bit longer and wider than Mcsorley 442E, i followed its basic drawings, but just when painted the frame with all welding done, i saw that i forgot to add a tube between diff - wishbone carrier and back side upper rail.
Question is simple - should i add marked in red tubes, or it's not big deal if without it.
Thanks

Need better pics from different angles to consider if you need more tubes. Not sure what reference you are using for the irs mod to the 442e, maybe the haynes?

Take the upper end of the line in pic #2 and move it outward to the junction of the of the shock box and the lateral tube. This will provide both vertical support of the rear "suspension/diff box" and lateral stability also. Here is what I did, with an RX7 rear diff:

In my build, the lower short tube also tied to the suspension/diff box was intended to provide stabilizing the outer skin. My frame started out as a CMC chassis that I converted to IRS, I think before anyone had plans for the IRS published.
