Would anyone know where to find a cad model (preferably a step file) of the 1.8 miata differential with mounting points? I've been looking and haven't had any luck. Thanks in advance

Heh I had to check who the Author of this was as I was about to post the same thing and I thought maybe I did already...

Im also keen on a file, axles would be great too.

Although I do have a diff and axles on their way and If no file turns up ill make a model myself although it will be super basic and blocky with just the rough outside dimensions but ill try be as accurate as possible when it comes to mounting positions.

I don't have a CAD file, but I did a 3D point cloud scan of the diff that can be imported into AutoCAD. Files here... http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtop ... =4&t=17614

OK here we go, like I said not super detailed but has the basic shape and dimensions/locations of the mounting points and front flange are pretty accurate +/- 0.5mm.

I will go over it again on the weekend and double check all my measurements and update you if there is any changes.

I am planning to also to the axles uprights also.

let me know if you need a different file format
