Hey Tommy
Just to confirm I’ll take 3 for sure. Once mailed let me know what I owe you, thanks.

Will do.
I'm going to office depot in the morning to look at mailer bags, then to the post office for pricing on mailing.

I'm not in love with the 10mm hex version. I cleaned up the file on the original and it's cutting better than ever.

Chuck - they're on the way

Post office has gotten more expensive than I'd like and they broke the US into a bunch of zones.

Soooooooo

Shipping and Handling
1 pc $4
2 pcs $6
3 pcs $7

4-20 pcs USPS small flat rate box $8.30

Tommy, You've been paid. Thanks!

FYI, you can sometimes get a small discount on USPS pricing by sending thru PayPal. I use it a lot (for a non-business person). https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now

And don't forget for packages <1lb, First class package rates are pretty reasonable.

Looking forward to seeing these. They will be stocking stuffers at Xmas time.

These are coming first class. each bomb weighs close to 4 ounces. This year (2020) the USPS divided America into something like 8 mail zone for rate changes based on distance

More than 4 and flat rate boxes make sense

I'll take 5 of the original. Will PM you the address.
Best stocking stuffer for this year!

I find the regional rate boxes are cheaper for all but the furthest regions (I'm in CT, so price goes up as I send south or west) but that flat rate box is easy because it is consistent. I also like the free shipping supplies.

I picked up some 304 stainless yesterday. Material is much more expensive than mild steel and a lot more finishing required.
$11 for 1
$19 for 2
$27 for 3
$34 for 4
Priced delivered to your door

F Bombs have been flying off the plasma table

I got a request from a neighbor for a wind chime, so a little time in F360, then off to the garage.

This is the prototype. Has a great sound and sustain

Ahgg. Wind chimes should be illegal. And jazz. Jazz should be illegal too. My ears dislike random noises.

I'll drop this here...

The rates have gone abso-bombing-bonkers since I last looked though...

Wind chimes made from old welding tanks are okay because the notes are so low.

Jazz... yeah, completely agree. Others say they hear coordinated playing, but I don't.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around the past several days.

Short update:
Wifey Dearest and I celebrated 30 years of wedded bliss this week 11/17, so we got away from everything and spent a week walking the nearly abandoned beach in SC. We were at a DoubleTree resort property, about 550-600 rooms with maybe 30 rooms occupied. They were so empty we had an entire wing of the hotel to ourselves. They had to come over and turn on the elevators.

I've also been busy prototyping new parts on the plasma, and launched Samuels Metalcraft as it's own entity to keep the garbage artsy fartsy stuff off of Locost 7 Builders.
F Bombs, Christmas Ornaments, and wind chimes coming out at a slow but steady pace.

Now I'm quoting a custom variant of my Redfish sign for trophies to the Kayak Saltwater Series. We'll see how that play out.

No work on the 7 proper until January. We decided to put energy into launching Samuels Metalcraft to see if it can turn into an ongoing business that supports the car hobby.

Locost 7 Builders is still waiting on Racing Dreamz to execute the contract to turn their LaBala roller into a streetable car. Ben has election anxiety, so it's slowing the process.

Lastly, the Meerkat is sitting wrapped up on the trailer waiting on some love. I'll get there, just may take a little longer than planned...

Hey Gang, Merry Christmas from the Too Busy clan.

Quick update:
We had to shut down the Metalcraft business just as we were cranking up on orders. Wifey Dearest and I both came down with The Rona.
Anne is back to 100% thankfully. 3 week later and I'm still not back to normal. Still coughing my head off and suffering from fatigue.
Every time I step out into the cool air I instantly feel my chest tighten up and start coughing uncontrollably.

Christmas with the family was awesome, socially distanced, but awesome.

The Boy gave me a website for Christmas.
Image

He'll continue to flesh out the images as we get good high res pics.

Baby Girl gave me a gift card for "supplies" with no stipulation on what supplies meant, so I bought a nice set of art files.
Now Samuels Metalcraft has close to 2000 cut ready designs. Signs, Monograms, Art files, Deer / elk / bear / moose / fish / etc. A load of cars and motorcycles, and a boat load of base art that I can combine and import into my other designs.

We'll be rocking the metalwork in the new year.

Good news with a bunch of cut ready files, now I can concentrate the design time toward Locost bits and bobs.
