Hi Guys,

Its been a long time since I posted about my Tiki and Meerkat builds and time has come for the Meerkat to be finished.....buy by someone else.
Its basically a locostish styled, MR2 running gear mid-engine two seater.
I will post pictures as demand dictates. Meanwhile a search (meerkat) on here should bring up some pics.

Includes body molds and spare (very low mileage) engine.

Looking for around $1000

Located in east central FL near Vero Beach and Palm Bay

All the best,

Alan

What a great opportunity for someone who doesn't live 3000 miles away with two unfinished projects already!

But seriously, looks like a steal.

Wow, what a blast from the past! I remember following this build many years ago. It reminds me of the La Bala by Graber cars, around the same time period.

Hopefully someone is able to take it off your hands and complete it.

Links get "404 Not Found". :(

Not a player but curious what the rest of the body looks like.
Hoping to eventually do something similar using a Geo Metro 1.0

Ooh...about as far away from me as a project can get, but otherwise very tempting. Very.

Funny to see mention of the Graber La Bala. That's the car I've quoted building for Racing Dreamz. They own the jigs, molds, and rights to the car now.

I couldn't resist. I've been constantly watching, looking for the next project for the shop.
There are two other 7 builds on here that made the short list.
I was ready to pull the trigger on one of them when this was posted.

I used to know Steve quite well...I even got a test drive in the La Bala rolling chassis....not heard from him for a while.....Steve, if you're reading, get in touch please.

Back home in Greensboro, NC safe and sound with the Meerkat.

She's going on the back burner for a bit while I finish off the Spitfire and sell it, then do the last bits on the 7.
I need the space in my head cleared out before seriously tackling this project.

Rough plan is pull the body, sandblast the chassis, then scratch my head and see where it takes me.
I don't have a timeline or a budget limit in mind (yet) for finishing it off.

Since I do have most of the body molds, I will most likely recreate the missing molds, and offer up bodies if there is any interest.
