Don't know if this site has been posted yet, but it's a great resource. It's a search tool that looks in all the craigslists, ebay, hemmings and others for cars, parts, bikes, boats etc...

Its not Craigslist or Ebay, but the Grassroots Motorsports forums seems to have a LOT of miata activity if someone is looking:

Just noticed this, only 3 hours left of it.

It looks like a suitable set of uprights (looks like either front or rear steer, possibly reversible?), wilwood brakes, wilwood spindles, and wilwood rotors in decent shape.

Only $270 shipped atm. If I was at this stage in my build, I'd probably snatch them up without telling all of you :)

Just found this for any Miata builders...or potentially for bike builders as well.

On e-bay. Spax Coil overs. Since this is one of the most expensive things locosters buy, it'd be great to get a deal. I would have just bought them and not told you guys, but I'm not even close to needing them yet.

Link..

Not my auction, but thought somebody could benefit from these.

rigth now the bidding starts at $185.

LOL! . . . True. . . True . . .

Scrubbles, Were you able to find a suitable donor yet?

There's a '93 T-bird up in North Western Indiana / Chicago land. It's the SuperCharged Coupe and has a five speed. Plus it has IRS and Limited Slip Diff. (as Jim aka LocostV8 pointed out to me a while back).

It's listed at $650, but I'd be willing to bet $400 cash in hand would buy it.

Below is one of the pics and here's the link:

actually i just bought my donor super coupe last night and will be posting pics when i get it home (hopefully later this week when the roads are better)
it has flowmaster exhaust, a hyperchip (is that some sort of knockoff or what?), rebuilt engine, Short shifter, new clutch, and new ignition...

... and vacuum leaks and a bad starter and no radio  and a bad slave cylinder...
