Barring some miraculous progress, the Rotus won't be done in time for this one. Hopefully for '23
Those looks like some good runs you have planned.

Jamador, you don't need a Seven to attend. We have always been open to all. Get some ideas. Make some new friends. I will say that the number of Locosts/sevens are dwindling at The Gathering. Last year we had a Jag a few MGB's (myself included), a Vette, a bunch of DF Globlins and more. I've even driven my Ford Escape once. It is a great driving and social event.

Definitely true, but those drives probably aren't as enjoyable in a Malibu

Plus, a 12 hour drive each way. We drove to the KCMO area earlier this year for a wedding, long drive through a lot of nothing between Dallas/KC 8)

Those are not good dates for me. I was just wondering this morning if anyone was going to put one on. Russ

dates are certainly negotiable. It wouldn't be the same without you Russ. Is the following weekend better? May 19-22.

Jamador, as Chuck said, its a good chance to see other builds and get ideas. There may be open seats to go for rides or if someone is nice enough, to drive one. I will most likely have an open seat for most of the weekend as my wife usually stays with the kids.

I am also trying to get my brother to commit and bring his crazy TR8 and my local car club which has some interesting old cars.

Not ruling out attending, depends on how the next few months go & what our schedule looks like around then.

We are 3 months out. Any more interest in another gathering? So far we have serious interest from the following:

FieroReinke - Locost
Trialsmangasgas - Locost
Ross - Goblin
TheNuker - Goblin
Tim Moland - Goblin
Dave - E-type Jaguar
Tim - TR8

I have also mentioned it to my local old car club and I expect a few of them to join on a few of the days but no commitments yet. I also expect a few more goblins to join us. It would be a shame to only have two Locosts.

Hi Chris: Mary and I are definitely interested in a Gathering. The dates suggested are fine with us, but we are pretty flexible as to when. Glad to hear it will be a bit closer.
