Not that anyone much cares...

I am revisiting this post after I asked for advice about 12 years ago. Wow! I was gratified that the thread was still archived. I've forgotten what I had for breakfast, so it is nice to be reminded of all the good thoughts and advice offered up so long ago. It is not mere nostalgia that brings me back. I've found a spark of energy to get the locost back into fighting shape, or at least running condition.

I won't bore you with details but the car has a new wiring harness, and a new fuel cell, and after some tinkering, the engine is running great again. I took it out for the first drive in a decade on Tuesday and it was a total hoot. Except I was reminded that I never got the brake issue fully sorted out. I guess I'm a world class procrastinator. With any luck I'll make an entry here soon telling anyone who cares just how this chapter ends. Nice to be back.

I'm sure all of our knowledge has increased in the last 12 years.
