Boy I’m bad it this, I Also was hiding the fact the reason the pump quit is the relay burned out. I think I left that part out. Anyway I spent the rest of this year driving the car. Not as much as last, mainly I didn’t have anywhere to go, man it sucked. Ended this year around 3100 total chassis miles.
So this pump is nicer than the AEM that I originally started with. It quieter for one.

I am going to start a new build page. MG GT V8 build. This is going to be cool.

Hey Steve,
Personally I think over 3000 miles in the Locost per season is pretty good. Mine was the "GoTo" car for the pandemic before temps dropped and I barely managed 2000. The other toy cars got less than 100 miles each. ...and yes it sucks!

I should rephrase that. 900 this season. 3000 total on the car. Next summer we’ll see. It should become my daily. I need to get my big Audi out for the summer. I’ll need the room to spread out that GT. I guess it’s time for a storage facility too.

HEY LOOK A WERE GOING TO GET TO PAINT THIS MOTHER.. What?!! It’s only been 2yrs. I might actually get to hit the coveted completed showcase page, WOW! I’ll keep you posted. Oh ya it was a cold ass 5mile drive too. The heated seats work awesome, but my legs and face got cold, 10F. Was fun.

That is nice big space for sure. I am jealous. I dont mind the look of your car as is. Some days I wish I had not painted mine. I guess if you are taking it out when there is salt on the roads (which I have done) then paint is a must. My unpainted hood has required sanding to remove white corrosion a couple of times.

Paul, How are you? My buddy Wally’s shop. It is really nice. I’ll be taking pics along the way while we work on this thing. I think it’s 42x48. You can build anything in it. He made his own English wheel a few years ago. The whole shop is stunningly appointed.
I felt sorry for the ECU yesterday on my drive over. It was 10. The engine loved the cold but all the Microsquirt knew how to do is throw fuel in HAHAH. All my maps start at like 40. Kinda a funny but it had lots of power. 0-60 seemed to happen faster. I should have done a speed run.

If you have tires that are UTQG treadwear rating near or below 200. I would not recommend it. My Azenis RT-615's were slicker than hog snot when the temps were around 40 degrees. I can't imagine how they would have felt at 10 degrees.

P.S> Can't wait to see the paint. Are you considering attending the Midwest Gathering?

Chuck they are 200’s too. Zero control on my snow covered street. They were ok once I hit the dry pavement.
I won’t be able to go. School is still going on and it’s a pretty good hike for a weekend, I would need to take Friday and Monday off and there’s no way to do that.
